**Our 80% AR-9 lower receivers are designed to work with the “last round bolt hold open” feature in the upper receiver. The last round bolt hold open (LRBHO) is the function that keeps the bolt carrier group locked rearward on an empty magazine after the last round has been fired. For proper LRBHO function, please make sure to buy the appropriate upper receiver.
